What do you do to pay your bills? Account Executive
How did you learn about CrossFit and how did you end up in our awesome Box? My sister first started CrossFit and mentioned that I should give it a go because I would like the structure and competitiveness. I went to one class, got crushed, and have been hooked ever since.
What do you like most about being a FIT member (Hyper CrossFIT Athlete)? Other than the family-like atmosphere and stone breaking that goes on, I recently have enjoyed the structured routines that the coaches have been putting together. I’m always looking to better myself and the structure that has been put in place has been very positive. The best part of being a FIT/Hyper CrossFIT member is lifting with my sister and brother-in-law.
What is your proudest moment/biggest accomplishment since you started? Back in July, I snapped my forearm playing soccer and needed a plate and seven screws to put me back together. I knew it was going to take some time but the coaching staff at Hyper CrossFIT was able to help ease me into things and set mini goals for myself to get back to 100%. I am now back to 100% mobility and feeling confident moving some serious weight around. I have to thank the coaching staff and the members to help motivate and push me to get back.
What are you still working on to achieve? Oh wow! What am I not working on would be an easier question for me to answer. A few goals that I have set for myself is a 275 lb. Snatch and a 300 lb. C&J.
Tell us one random fact about yourself that has nothing to do with Crossfit. I played soccer over in England.
What is your favorite WOD or benchmark? As much as I hate thrusters, and if you were around during 19.5 you would have witnessed how much I despise them, but I’d have to say FRAN.
