What do you do to pay your bills? Network Architect

How did you learn about CrossFit and how did you end up in our awesome Box? A few years ago a friend of mine suggested we give Crossfit a try in order to get fit and many failed attempts at a normal gym. I was hooked after that first week of soreness. From that moment I became hooked and wanted to be a better me and continually try to defeat my preconceived limitations of what I can physically and mentally accomplish.

What do you like most about being a FIT member (Hyper CrossFit Athlete)? I like being in class with my fellow athletes and the coaches. The environment here encourages perseverance and trying harder then you did yesterday. I always feel mentally stronger after leaving class.

What is your proudest moment/biggest accomplishment since you started? My proudest moment is getting dressed for an event and realizing some of my pants that fit me last year are actually bigger and looser now.

What are you still working on to achieve? Overhead Squats, 10 strict pull-ups, more endurance.

Tell us one random fact about yourself that has nothing to do with CrossFit. I talk to my dogs like they are educated individuals.

What is your favorite WOD or benchmark? “FRAN” is my favorite

If you created a WOD and named it after yourself, what would it be?

 I would call my WOD “Lucky number 7”

What advice would you offer to someone interested, but intimidated to try CrossFit? If you’re thinking about CrossFit I would suggest just trying it for 30 days out of your life. There are no unrealistic requirements and everyone is friendly and encouraging. We all have to begin somewhere in our fitness journey. CrossFit offers you a path on that journey. You’re only opponent is you.

Any additional comments you would like to share?  I love the atmosphere at Hyper CrossFIT and no matter what type of athlete you are or at what level you’re at there is something for you here.
