What do you do to pay your bills? Army
How did you learn about CrossFit and how did you end up in our awesome Box? I started CrossFit at my last duty station in Fort Hood. On my way to be stationed at JBMDL, I found Hyper CrossFIT online. I dropped into a Saturday class on my second day in Jersey. I have been here ever since.
What do you like most about being a FIT member (Hyper CrossFIT Athlete)? I enjoy the camaraderie of the other athletes as we suffer…. I mean train.
What is your proudest moment/biggest accomplishment since you started? I am most proud of getting my double unders and handstand walk. I just PR’d “Annie” besting my last time by 7:15.
What are you still working on to achieve? I am still working on walking farther on my hands. I am also working on my form for all the fun lifts like snatches, squat cleans, and overhead squats.
Tell us one random fact about yourself that has nothing to do with Crossfit. A random fact about me is in additional to CrossFit I also do Spartan OCR. I just hit my trifecta this racing season. What that means is I have completed ALL of the 3 types of races this race season. Next year I am going for two trifectas and attempting an Ultra Beast (26 plus miles over 50 obstacles).
What is your favorite WOD or benchmark? My current favorite WOD/ benchmark is “Annie”.

What advice would you offer to someone interested, but intimidated to try CrossFit? The best advice to give anyone interested is to just do it. The hardest part is to start. No matter how awesome the athletes are they had to start somewhere. Last bit of advice is to hang in there. It will get better. Embrace the suck.
