What do you do to pay your bills? IT Director

How did you learn about CrossFit and how did you end up in our awesome Box? Watching the Crossfit Games. I came to Fitness Integrated Therapy to rehab a shoulder issue caused by trying kipping pull-ups after watching the Games and realized I didn’t know what I was doing. Spending time on the therapy side with Paul and Yolanda allowed me to learn more about Crossfit and Hyper CrossFIT.

What do you like most about being a FIT member (Hyper CrossFIT Athlete)? Having workouts that push me and coaches that provide the necessary guidance. Being a part of a community of people who encourage and push you to do better and try new things. This includes doing extra WODs on occasion or working on some new skills with other members before or after class.

What is your proudest moment/biggest accomplishment since you started?  Finally getting a ring muscle-up!

What are you still working on to achieve?  I can’t think of anything I’m not working on!

Tell us one random fact about yourself that has nothing to do with CrossfitI have two grandchildren ages 2 and 5.

What is your favorite WOD or benchmark?  It seems to be a favorite of some others in the gym as well…Linda.

If you created a WOD, what would it consist of?  Some combination of deadlifts, bench press, push-ups, and pull-ups.

What advice would you offer to someone interested, but intimidated to try CrossFit? Every movement and weight can be scaled, just start with what you are comfortable with. Once you try it, then you can build on what you have learned. Everyone had to start somewhere.
